The Ironwood Hills Golf Course was the first, and for nearly half a century the only, golf course on Molokai and was originally built as a source of entertainment for Scottish plantation workers. Today, the nine-hole course has been renovated into a standard mountain course with hilly terrain and fast greens. The course is located on the north shore of the island, near the Kalaupapa Peninsula.
